Short-lived Latvian band Pasaki Onkuliem Ata (1994-95) recorded only one EP (which was never released anyway), but pawned a way for more exciting musical circus formations like Yaputhma Sound System and Gosha & The Brand New Hedgehogs (the former being basically an extended reincarnation of POA).

Taking main inspiration from Pixies, Pasaki Onkuliem Ata approach was being as musically promiscuous as possible, blending virtually any existing musical genres according to a plan or momentary whim, sometimes within the same song - all with the tongue firmly in cheek. Another POA addiction was doing unexpecting cover versions of anything they liked - be it classic indie songs or commercial radio hits - usually turning them in a hardly recognizable something (what about "Wave of Mutilation" by Pixies in ska or "Saturday Night" by Whigfield in punk?).

Subsequent projects featuring mostly the same personnel were Gosh & The Brand New Hedgehogs (1995) and Yaputhma Sound System (1995-97).
